It’s true that VegasCasino isn’t a brand new online casino. However, with new direction behind the wheel and a UKGC license, the Professor thought it was time for a fully-fledged VegasCasino review. Unfortunately, this wasn’t all good…
VegasCasino.com launched in 2016 and has undergone a number of ownership changes since. They originally had a license from Curacao only but that all changed towards the beginning of 2019 when Bear Group Ltd began operating them.
At this point, the Professor took interest due to their newfound status as a UK casino site with a Gambling Commission license. Yet, there are still a few glaring blunders.
VegasCasino review at a glance:
- UKGC certified
- Limited Promotions & VIP Program
- 500+ Slots & Games
- No 24/7 Customer Support – but with UK phone number
- Good mobile site
- Very poor selection of payment methods
The VegasCasino.com folks have the following online casino bonus across two deposits for new British players:
- 100% up to £50
- 20 Bonus Spins
Not exactly the most thrilling ever.
N/A – Although there are plenty of casino promo codes still going around, there’s no such VegasCasino bonus code equivalent for either deposit offer above.
VegasCasino Free Spins
If you make a second deposit at VegasCasino, they will give you 50 Starburst spins.
Bonus Terms & Wagering
The bonus terms and wagering requirements are very important to look at as they pretty much make or break the Professor’s casino reviews.
This is what we found for our VegasCasino.com review:
- Wagering of x50 for the first deposit match bonus
- Wagering of x30 any free spins winnings
- Bonus funds must be wagered within 7 days
- Offers are only available for 30 days
- £10 minimum deposit for both offers
- There is a maximum win of £500 from the second deposit spins
Overall, there’s nothing too bad.
Now, this is the part of the VegasCasino review that we weren’t so happy about compared with other casino sites.
On inspection, there didn’t seem to be any standalone offers provided on the Promotions page!
We sincerely hope that they change this soon.
One thing that is offered is a VegasCasino VIP Program – but again it isn’t exactly thrilling.
To start, there are no set entry requirements. Instead, you’re given the rather vague statement that “you can automatically become a VIP as a result of your gameplay”.
Unfortunately, things get worse.
Your VIP level is determined by how much you deposit and wager EACH WEEK. Unless you’re very loyal then it’s highly likely your VIP status will drop soon after joining.
If you do manage to sustain it then there are some nice perks admittedly:
- Faster withdrawals
- VIP support
- Birthday bonuses
- Concert tickets
- Latest tech
- VIP hospitality days
We expected VegasCasino to have some modern-day payment options at the very least. Sadly, that doesn’t seem to be the case for UK players. There’s not even the basic Skrill, Neteller or Paysafecard!
Instead, you can only deposit via card – so Visa or MasterCard.
Initially, we thought payments was going to be a huge plus because of the £10 minimum deposit. Instead, it’s impacted our VegasCasino.com review rating significantly.
VegasCasino Withdrawal Times
Withdrawals at VegasCasino can take between 5-7 working days to be in your account.
This is because each request needs to first be approved (which can take up to 2 working days). Then the funds are transferred to your account – which can take another 3-5 working days because it’s card transactions only.
The minimum withdrawal limit is again £10 (which is good), but the Professor was really disappointed with payments on the whole.
VegasCasino Slots & Games
When it comes to games, VegasCasino fair a little better.
They currently have a little over 500 different slot machines and casino games on their UK site, which demonstrates a decent amount of choice.
They have games provided to them by designers like Play’n GO, Yggdrasil, and NetEnt, which include top-quality creations and new releases.
If you’re a fan of slots and bingo then Slingo will surely catch your eye.
VegasCasino have a decent selection of Slingo games available to play – including classic British TV shows such as Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Britain’s Got Talent.
VegasCasino’s live action is provided by Evolution Gaming – and it comprises of 12 different tables for the UK.
The classics such as roulette and blackjack are joined by baccarat, card poker variations and Dream Catcher for a healthy mix of options.
VegasCasino is fully mobile optimised thanks to a responsive design. You’ll be able to navigate around the site using the handy sidebar, while choosing your games is made much easier thanks to the inclusion of game categories.
Unfortunately, not all games (mainly Slingo, but a few slots and others too) are not available on mobile. This is because they are old games rather than any issue on VegasCasino’s part.
All the same Promotions and payment methods (not much, we know!) can be found when playing at this mobile casino too.
NOTE: There is no VegasCasino app at the time of writing. Simply use your device’s browser to play.
Safety & Security
One of the most critical aspects of this VegasCasino review was the security record. Their history of changing hands hasn’t gone unnoticed, so the Professor was extra careful here to do his homework.
Thankfully, he didn’t find too many problems. Bear Group Ltd have installed encryption so that the time you spend at VegasCasino.com remains private – including the handling of sensitive data.
As mentioned at the start, VegasCasino – under the stewardship of Bear Group – have done away with their Curacao license in favour of one from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC).
They also have another from the Malta Gaming Authority to establish themselves as a European online casino.
However, it’s their UKGC license that the Professor is particularly fond of – especially the fact that it reads no recorded sanctions at the time this VegasCasino review was published.
Always a good checkpoint to tick.
However, you may well have some issues while playing here – you know, the common headaches and problems.
To help you find an answer, VegasCasino’s customer support service is on hand between the hours of 8am and 12am (so, 16 hours in total per day) via the following methods:
- Live Chat
- Phone (UK)
Also, they have an FAQ section for usual questions and queries – although it’s not that obvious for desktop players, admittedly.
VegasCasino.com has a few restricted territories.
They include: Afghanistan, Algeria, American Samoa, Andorra, Angola, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bhutan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Chad, Curacao, Costa Rica, Ivory Coast, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Ethiopia, France, Georgia, Guinea, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Liberia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Moldova, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Samoa, Seychelles, Slovenia, Somalia, South Georgia, Sudan, Suriname, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Thailand, The Netherlands, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, Vietnam, Yemen, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
VegasCasino.com Review by Casino Professor
My first impression of VegasCasino.com is incredibly mixed.
It has a lot of good aspects – such as the UK license, decent selection of games, and well-designed mobile site.
Unfortunately, there are some really poor marks too – like the absolutely absurd number of payment methods, fairly slow payout speeds and limited Promotions.
If you do give them a go, tell me how you got on with your own VegasCasino review below.
