Our BGO Casino review introduces you to a top 20 UK online casino – but have they decided to go back to the dreaded wagering after such a long time away? We will explain all here – including everything about the welcome bonus, games, payouts and more.

BGO Casino was founded in 2011 and launched in 2012. Owned and operated by BGO Entertainment Ltd, this casino is focused on providing top quality games and is powered by big software suppliers like NetEnt, IGT and Blueprint Gaming. There is a broad range of slots and table games available, including instant play, with the casino featuring a sleek and user-friendly interface.

BGO Casino review in a nutshell:

  • NEW: Payment fees removed & fast payouts added!
  • No wagering bonuses no longer available
  • Deposit via PayPal
  • Promotions for existing players
  • No 24/7 customer support

Is there anything else we’ve missed out? Let us know by leaving us your own BGO Casino review below.

BGO Casino Bonus

Every new UK player who signs up at BGO will given the following casino bonus:

  1. Deposit £10 and win up to 500 Free Spins

All players need to be 18+ and new customers.

Bonus Terms & Wagering

Here are the key terms for the BGO casino bonus above:

  • UK only
  • Win up to 500 spins from Mega Wheel on 1st deposit
  • 24-hour expiry
  • Max bet £2.50, Max Spins win £8 per 10 spins, Max Bonus win £150, selected games & 65x wagering on winnings
  • No Neteller/Skrill
  • Full T&Cs apply.

The main takeaway is that BGO has redeployed wagering requirements*, which is a big pity. You can read our guide to casino wagering requirements for some basic strategies for overcoming these obligations. However, x65 wagering is very high regardless.

Thankfully, the deposit and withdrawal fees that used to be charged have recently been removed. Also, fast payouts have been added (more on that below) – so a nice update for our BGO Casino review.

*If you were hoping for a bonus with no wagering requirements like BGO had before, you can view our best casino sites with no wagering requirements to find an alternative place to play.

BGO Promo Code

N/A – no special BGO promo code is needed.

Extra Features

There are more interesting casino bonuses waiting for existing gamers as well – and they come in many different shapes and sizes.

Promotions

The classic Promotions webpage details all the current BGO offers for existing players. We can’t give you exact examples as these offers frequently change, but they have been a mix of casino bonuses, holidays, tickets to events, and more in the past.

Deposits

BGO Casino offers its players many different deposit methods. Bank wire transfers, e-wallets, MasterCard and Visa are all available for payments to be made to your BGO account. The standard minimum deposit is £10 – although if you are looking to activate a bonus then the minimum deposit needed may be higher.

During summer 2020, BGO also scrapped all fees related to payments – so you won’t be charged anything more than what you want to play with.

PayPal Accepted

We’ve had some great new developments to add to this BGO Casino review, and one of those is undoubtedly that they are one of the active PayPal casinos who offer deposits and withdrawals.

Not many casino sites manage to land PayPal for whatever reason, so BGO have landed a tasty shot on many of their iGaming rivals.

BGO Withdrawal Times

In summer 2020, BGO introduced their Fast Payouts feature which means the withdrawal process begins instantly. Of course, your withdrawal will then need to pass the standard security checks that UK casinos need to complete. The minimum withdrawal amount is £10.

Once the withdrawal has been approved, the time it takes for the payout to be in your account depends on your chosen method:

  • PayPal: 0-24 hours
  • Skrill/Neteller: 0-24 hours
  • Card/Bank Transfer: 3-5 business days

BGO Games & Slots

At the time of this BGO Casino review update, there were 900+ games and slots on offer to players. These games include mostly slot machines, but also table games, scratch cards and even bingo are offered. Most of the games are from Playtech, NetEnt, and other big developers. They are constantly looking to improve their collection too by adding more quality developers – such as Play’n GO in October 2020. Games are easily found by using their search option.

There is also an extensive live casino suite at BGO. Gamers can enjoy live streams of blackjack, roulette, baccarat and a few poker variations if they wish, with special tables created for events (e.g. sporting matches, new slot releases, holiday seasons etc).

BGO Casino Mobile

BGO Casino offers its players the essential feature of being able to play on any mobile device. The casino is extremely user-friendly, with the mobile site keeping things simple for users.

The developers opted to use expanding menus for all of their slots, table and bingo games. This ensures that you have access to the complete site on an uncomplicated and easy to navigate platform.

BGO App

However, if you’re using an Apple or Android device AND you currently reside in the UK, you can download either BGO’s app for iOS or alternatively BGO’s app for Android.

Of course, modern-day mobile browsers are more than capable of handling casino sites if you’d prefer to keep your storage space.

Customer Service

Several user BGO Casino reviews have commented on their help team.

Small problems are resolved in a matter of minutes according to the general consensus, with some even naming the responsible agent directly.

You can contact them via Live Chat, email or phone – but only between the hours of 07:30 – 01:00.

Security & Safety

Safety and security can be a big concern whenever you are giving out your personal information or using money online. BGO Casino takes this matter very seriously and all player data is encrypted with the latest SSL technology. They apply this to BGO sister sites too. See:

This casino is licensed and regulated by both the Alderney Gambling Commission and the UK Gambling Commission. They are regularly audited for fair play and display a full and transparent privacy policy, together with their terms and conditions.

That’s not to say this casino’s record is 100% clean, as BGO were investigated by the UKGC in April 2017. However, shortly after this incident came the decision to scrap wagering requirements altogether – with BGO deeming them unfair on online casino players.

Restricted Countries

BGO Casino does have a long list of restricted countries that are unable to access their site and games.

These include: USA, US/GB Virgin Islands, US Minor Outlying Territories, North Korea, China, Syria, Yemen, Spain, Italy, France and Overseas Regions, Afghanistan, Libya, Sierra Leone, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Mali, Sudan, Belgium, Greece, Israel, Germany, Turkey, Switzerland, Sweden, Hong Kong, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Macau, Philippines, Singapore, Hungary, United Arab Emirates, Romania, Portugal, Netherlands, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Malaysia, Australia, Colombia and Malta.

BGO Casino Review Summary by Casino Professor

Back in the day when BGO had gone wager-free, this was a really quality move which made everything much more fun as you didn’t need to worry about wagering. Unfortunately, that’s not the case any more.

Sure, the casino is still very much the same – PayPal payments, good games, fast withdrawals – but losing the no wagering aspect is a blow.

BGO Reviews from players

  1. Google; bgo.com – Our commitment to Fair Play. You will see an advert featuring Verne Troyer, This advert clearly states you keep what you win on bonuses. This is not true they stole £850 from my balance. It is against a number of laws to advertise one thing then renege on it. I will pursue this until they pay me. I will issue proceedings in a court of law if they do not pay me after I have exhausted all other options. I am am not the only one they have swindled out of their winnings.

    1. Hi David,

Unfortunately, that advert is from a few years ago and is no longer valid. The terms and conditions on their site have since been updated with wagering requirements and maximum win limits included.

We’re sorry about that. Please let us know if you have any more queries/concerns.

      Regards,

Google; bgo.com – Our commitment to Fair Play. You will see an advert featuring Verne Troyer, note the terms in this advert.
I viewed this advert thought good casino good terms I will give it a go, got up to £1100 then tried to withdraw it, the system would not let me, next time I logged on my balance was £250
This is my account. I had deposited £20 & played the £15 bonus 165 times.

    Time Description Amount

09:26:15 Removing casino bonus pending winnings – Remove pending winnings bonus funds due to Cancellation, expiry or redeemption £850.91

BGO said, this is their message.
The maximum you can win from the Free Spins won from the Mega Wheel is £10 for every 10 Free Spins. The maximum you can win from the Free Spins winnings after completing wagering requirements is £250

Not what it says in their advert. BGO just removed £850 from my balance.

I did not know at the time that BGO Entertainment had been fined £300,000 for misleading promotions by the gambling board. If I did I would never had played. So they are up to their old tricks

To BGO if you do not pay me I will take it up with ASA. Gambling Board, CMA, Consumers Right Act, Etc. Etc. PAY UP I’M NOT GOING AWAY

    1. Hi David,

We’re sorry to learn that you’ve not had a good experience at BGO.

We recently updated our BGO review with the news that the casino had added wagering requirements and other terms back to their welcome bonus. These changes also stipulate that you can only win a certain amount for every batch of 10 free spins you get, while there’s also a maximum cap on how much you can win overall.

Please let us know if you have any other problems, and we hope you have a better experience next time.

      Regards,

      Casino Professor Team

  3. First played at bgo a while ago but have been a huge fan since the no wagering as it gives you a real chance. Had some big spins myself from bgo before!!

It’s true that the £2.50 fee is a bit annoying, but to be honest he no wager bonuses make it worth it for sure. One of my top 5 I reckon!

    1. Hey Robby C!

Thanks a lot for giving us feedback on BGO. We’re glad the no wagering requirements have had such an effect on you, and congratulations on those wins.

Hopefully a few more will be joining you soon!

      Regards,
      Professor
